On December 22, 2023, Sumida Shipbuilding signed a contract with a European ship owner for the construction of two 63,000 DWT CROWN63 PLUS bulk carriers (referred to as "CROWN63 Version 3.0"). Mr. He Jun, Secretary of CPC Committee and Chairman of Sumida Shipbuilding, Mr. Xu Gang, Member of CPC Committee and Vice Chairman of Sumida Shipbuilding, Mr. Xu Bin, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and General Manager of Sumida Shipbuilding, as well as relevant personnel from Sumida Shipbuilding's Business Department attended the signing ceremony.
