China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd, founded in 2013, is located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and is engaged in the manufacturing of railroad, marine, aerospace and other transportation equipment. The enterprise has a registered capital of USD 40,000,000, which is more than 99% of its counterparts in Jiangsu Province, and paid-up capital of USD 40,000,000.

On December 13, 2018, the company's first 45,000m3 LNG vessel slowly set sail from the company's 1# wharf, officially conducting sea trials.

The cargo tank of the vessel adopts the patented design of LNT A-BOX, and the cargo tank insulation system adopts the new insulation system designed by MGIT, which belongs to the world's first application on a 45,000m3 LNG carrier.
